Thank you so much to all the sponsors who chose to take another child after theirs had graduated from the program.  Many have been blessed as they entered the program. They cannot believe that someone would care for their children enough to give food, medical and dental care, and give school supplies so that their children can attend school. We just tell them God loves you so much; these gifts are from Him.

 

March was a good month for the new sponsored children to start; it was time to hand out vitamins, parasite treatments and for our quarterly birthdays too!  I enjoy watching the new ones who have never had such a treat react to the taste and not just the little ones but the adults too!

 

Each month we have a topic for hygiene.  Last month was to clean your latrine; this month is to bathe your children, and the importance of a clean body.  Some laugh and some listen.  For some it is more difficult as water is a long way from home and they must carry it.  It would be used for cooking first then drinking water, not much left for bathing when most have large families.  However, we continue to encourage.

 

As you continue to pray for your sponsor child please know, that every Saturday our Embrace families are also praying for each sponsor and their family.
